Wow, it is true what they were writing in that newspaper article about having adjusted lights along East-West streets in Broward.

There was traffic and bad weather along my usual route on the way home (I normally tale I-95 South and then I-595 West). So I decided to bite the bullet and go West on Cypress Creek which then turns into McNab.

I hit a green light at every intersection!!!!!

Well almost. One green turned into yellow right when I was going through the intersection.
And also I had to stop for a red light all the way in West Tamarac, the last red light on McNab near Sawgrass Expressway.

I drove 45-50mph basically all the way from Cypress Creek and Powerline to that last light on McNab.

It was quite interesting to see red lights up ahead (half to quarter mile ahead) turning green when I was approaching them.

Yes I believe they re-calibrated the lights. It used to take damn near 45 minutes to drive on Atlantic Blvd from Coral Ridge Drive to US1. You'd hit literally every light along the way. Now it seems to take 10-15 minutes less. The downside is that if you're traveling north-south on Powerline, Dixie, or other highways it will take longer.
