Orlando is rednecky? I wish! Apparently you havent been here in a while! Sometimes I feel like I'm in another country entirely! I could only wish it felt like Alabama or Tennessee (or whatever you think "rednecky" is).

I was referring to the outer suburbs of Orlando being rednecky. Places like Leesburg for example. But I acknowledged in my first post that Orlando is much more diverse these days than in the past. Funny how you pick and chose comments out of my post that benefit your argument and ignore everything else. All I said is that Broward County is more diverse, more progressive, and more gay-friendly than Orlando. I don't know many people who would disagree with this, so what's the big problem here?

That's the only thing that really caught me eye, I wasnt picking and choosing.

PS- Leesburg? I think it's about an hour away... you are probably thinking of a place like Bithlo or St Cloud, although St Cloud is becoming more Hispanic now too.

No actually it was Leesburg. I know people from there and they are pretty redneck. It doesn't mean I don't like them. It just is what it is. They are rednecks. Contrary to what you would probably like to believe, I have traveled outside of South FL in my life. Do people from other parts of the state think that people from South FL have never traveled north of Palm Beach County? This is one I'm hearing a lot lately.

I just dont consider Leesburg a suburb of Orlando, but anyhow...

What makes them "rednecks?"
