I know it's in Weston, but I'm not exactly sure where. It's called Mrs. P's Dance and Acrobatics Studio. They have locations in Coral Springs, Boca and Port St. Lucie. My daughter goes to the Boca studio and we've been very happy there. The Coral Springs studio is the main one and the Weston studio is run by the daughter-in-law of the ones who run Coral Springs. Still not clear how Boca and PSL came into the picture though.
They start the Baby Ballerina class at around age 2 1/2 to 3.

Having lived in both Parkland and Weston , I would say those cities along with Cooper City have the best public schools in Broward County .

New Mommy,
My wife teaches in Weston and we also live here, so I have some information on schools for you. Weston has some of the best schools in the state. We are also the safest city in Broward County, and financial the city is very sound. Look into the Imagine Charter School at Weston. The FCAT is always a problem here in Florida, so you will find that compliant in almost all schools in Florida, by teachers. I think we should have an FCAt for the politicians, and see how they measure up!

My kids did not move to private school until 6th grade. I have given the public schools plenty of chances. I have also been inside the public schools as a pre service teacher. I have plenty of first hand knowledge of the public schools in Broward County and I stand by my assessment that they are poor. There are plenty of good teachers in the schools but as long as they continue to teach the minimal curriculum that's all the kids will get.
It's not my job to help the current situation. I am trying to give my honest assessment to people who seek information not make things better or worse.

Thanks for your input. I've heard good things about Imagine and will research that when the time comes.
