Yes and Yes from what I've heard. If you want to raise a family it seems like a nice place. But I have never lived there so I only know what I've seen from driving through.

Hey Berry,
Hope you had a great time visiting the area. I just drove through Cooper City for the first time Friday. I drove down Palm Ave onto Sterling Rd. The subdivisions that I past looked very nice.
I met a woman at a birthday party on Saturday that lives there and she loves it. I haven't heard anything bad about the area.
Good luck with your search

Hi Berryjuice,

You are looking to move to FL? How come? You just got to NC! I grew up in Pembroke Pines, (lived on the Cooper City border) & went to Cooper City High (many years ago). Cooper City is a very nice area for families. The schools in this area are well-rated compared to others in Broward County. My kids were in 7th grade & kindergarten when we moved to Waxhaw. They both said that the curriculum here in NC was harder than what they were doing in FL. I can answer any questions you have about Cooper City & surrounding areas.

Cooper City is very nice. The schools are some of the better ones in Broward. It is conveniently located. I like West Boca better but I suspect it is more expensive than Cooper City. It also depends on where you will be working. Cooper City is convenient to Fort Lauderdale, West Boca really isn't that convenient.

Berry,
I highly recommend Cooper City as one of the better options in Broward Cty. A rated schools, small community feel, moderate to upscale housing, accesibility to interstates and low crime rate. I don't know much about Boca, but, Cooper City allows commuting to most Broward and Miami-Dade locations.
