Studio/Efficiency (Davie: apartment, for rent, condos)

Does anybody know of eff./studio apts. in the (NW)Broward area? My son is looking to move into his own apt. and the prices are just so high for a young person starting out.

I have a friend....very responsible and nice guy that has a room in his home in Davie for rent for only 960/month. Directly across Broward College and NSU.

International Studios at 1480 s Ocean in Pompano/Lauderdale by the Sea advertised studios for 600 or so last year. They're actually more like a motel room but directly on the beach.

Also at Galt Ocean Mile they have a few for 600.

My son had roomates all through and after college until he was about 26.

$960 ? I think that's super high for a "room". Unless it's a 50/50 share of the entire house like a roommate situation.

You can get an entire apartment in Bay Club and Port Royale and other places in 33308 for under 1000. Even 775, 850 right on realtor dot com today theres quite a few 1 br at bay club directly on the water. for 850. Right above Coral Ridge area on ne 62nd has 2 BRs condos for 750.00. With pools LOL. And I looked at all those areas nothing wrong with them at all. And much better than so many other areas west of Fed.

There are alot of condos in 33308 near Imperial Point / stopping at McNab...that are very reasonable. I didn't look south that much because the job I was looking at was at 65th. But I think you can do just as well down there if you look.
