where is a good place to study around Miramar/Pembroke Pines
I have been to the library at Miramar Town Center which just opened not too long ago, and it was just saturated with ghetto people. The area was nice, but the people were not so nice.
Are there any safe places to study around Miramar/PP?
Thanks

Whoops!
I see that you are in West Miramar.
Try Broward County Public Library: 55 NW 129 Avenue -- west of CB Smith Park.

If he is trying to avoid "ghetto people", NO WAY! That library is VERY ghetto, the parking lot is shady and the library is full of very loud, obnoxious people. I think you should try the Miramar library again, because I have been there multiple times and never had a problem. I doubt your experience was the norm. I saw "ghetto people" here and there but not enough to call it "saturated" and they were being quiet too. Most of the people I saw were black but not "ghetto" at all, if you are confusing the two. The whole parking area felt very safe to me as well. Not sure if I would live in some of those apartments in the area (way too nice looking to be less than 5 minutes from Miami Gardens, thus robberies and burglaries) but it's very nice to go to the library for a few hours.

Ghetto people in the library? Are you referring to the several black/hispanic kids in Broward who spend the after school time at the library in absence of parenting supervision at home? I really hope not. And if you don't, then here are my apologies for intruding in this thread. But if you ARE referring to those students, well, they might be noisy, but, hey, "non-ghetto" kids are just as noisy, aren't they? So what really bothers you?

Have you tried Panera Bread off Dykes and Miramar Pkwy, or the one in PP?

I saw some guy looking at my car to see what I had inside. So I picked up the phone and called the cops, and he immediately took off.

Yes I have been the one in PP. It's pretty decent, and sometimes it gets way to busy. I am looking for a more quiet/slow place.

I dont mind students studying. I do mind kids coming up to me asking for money and people touching my car.
