Hey Dade>
There is no exit from the Turnpike to Broward Blvd, so you'd have to take 595 no matter what. One option nobody mentioned is when you get on 595 continue all the way east to US1 instead of exiting at Broward Blvd. That way you avoid the Broward Blvd traffic in downtown.
Also, you're better off sticking with the Interstates even with traffic. The local roads like Griffin, Pines, Sheridan, etc take a year and a day going eastbound during morning commutes. There are 1000 stoplights and the traffic is no better than 595. I'd stick with the original 2 routes either Turnpike to 595 or I-75 to 595.

If anything, taking 75 (from Miramar) to Griffin Rd east bound to Davie Rd to meet back with 595 could be a good way to avoid morning rush hour delays without using the turnpike. While the lights seem to be sequenced fairly well on Griffin Rd,

I was thinking Pembroke Road to 595 you are right about Dykes but stay AWAY from Griffin. There is major construction again and it is 2 lane from I-75 to Flamingo. Aggravating drive at any hour.

Wait! I got it! The fastest route by far from the OP's house to downtown! And you don't have to use 595 or Broward Blvd.
Take Red Road to the Turnpike northbound. Exit at 595 East, but don't actually get on 595. You will go through a series of ramps and exit at SR-84/Marina Mile Blvd. Continue east on SR-84 all the way to Andrews Avenue and turn left. Take Andrews into downtown and from there its just a matter of what part of Downtown. This is the fastest way since there isn't nearly as much traffic on Marina Mile as there is on Broward or 595.

You can't take Pembroke Rd to Red Rd from Dykes, and as nolefan mentioned, you also can't get to Broward Blvd from the turnpike.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I forgot to respond to this thread since I moved to Miramar. My wife is taking Miramar to 75 NB to 595 EB to 95NB to Broward. This route is the most simplest and takes about the same time as the Turnpike route. She tried Miramar to Red Road to turnpike and that ride alone was about 20 minutes. She complained about the local traffic on Miramar. She only runs into a little bit of traffic on 595 EB from Haitus to 95 (A good 3 miles or so), but it moves. I'm really glad I bought off Dykes instead of Sunset Lakes. I feel for the people who have to travel from that far west in the AM.

Yeah the traffic in Southwest Broward at those traffic lights is unbelievable. I'm glad I live further east. You'd think the traffic would be far less out there because there are less people and brand new roads. Is it just the synchronization of the lights? If so, why doesn't somebody do something about that?
