For only a little more per person, you could afford a 3 or 4 night cruise on one of the major cruiseliners like Carnival or Royal Carribbean. I'd save my money and go on one of those cruises rather than dumping it all on a one day cruise. So no, its not worth it IMO.

Imperial is better from what I heard...this from a friend that has done both Discovery and Imperial. One thing I can tell you is that your fellow passengers...most of them....are there to have fun, party hardy and drink it up. Some shady characters can be expected. But you will still have a lot of fun !
