Parkland is a large family oriented community with decent schools. You got some good advice here -- wishing you well.
Your guess seemed high to me.......mapquest says Boynton to Jupiter -29 miles, to Parkland 23 miles.

What ghetto is Parkland surrounded by? Parkland is surrounded by Everglades on 2 sides, Boca Raton on one side, and Coral Springs on the other side. No ghetto is within 10 miles of Parkland. The only moderately sketchy area is the brief stretch on 441 just across the county line with Palm Beach County. It is sketchy for about 1/2 a mile then gets nice again.
