can you please tell me some positives about Fort Lauderdale and area? ive heard enough reasons not to start my life there but none as to where i should. You may have heard my story before, i am going to college in broward county, i am going to be a pharmacist. do you think that fort lauderdale is a good choice for a college student? is there night life??? is there other students around besides tourists and spring breakers?? I NEED all the help i can get, i still have a chance to go to U of South Florida in Tampa! help please

nova or usf?? hmmm....positves about lauderdale...ok...TONS and tons of partying, tons of young people, really hot girls everywhere and tons of gay men so do the math , perfect weather mid october through mid may, tons of golf, incredible beaches, 45 minutes to south beach, nova is in davie which is a really nice suburban area, u r from NJ i assume and theres TONS and tons of NJ/NY people here and the fastpace of life mimmicks NY metro area.....i am moving to tampa next month after 5 yrs here, from long island originally....good luck

Something POSITIVE about Fort Lauderdale? Being that you are younger you will probably love it here...I positively kknow that I am leaving this area. This is for the younger crowd. Good luck if you do move here

You will love it! Between Miami and Palm Beach, short flight to the islands, short drive to Key West. Lots of young adults, clubs, the best restaurants- I second the real Chinese food- how I miss it! Many active organizations to get involved in, great variety of churches. You'll make lots of contacts for after you graduate. The weather rocks and you can do any kind of sports that you want, other than bobsledding. Beaches, everglades, fishing, diving. What's not to like?!
