If you have work in Miami three or four nights a week (we're musicians), where are good, safe sort of middle class neighborhoods to live outside the city? Looks like Danes Beach is not one of them. 1/2 hours drive would be okay.

Thanks..

Everyone is bashing "Dania" Beach lately, lol, actually Dania east of US1 is fine, so is Hollywood and Hallandale. There are some solid areas out west as well if you want classic suburbia. What's your budget?

Dania Beach, sorry. Well, people always suggest we buy property, but if we go on tour, we want to be able to store our stuff, and go. I don't like owning a house; too much work, too much responsibility.

But having said that, we only need two bedrooms, and somewhere we can come home to, at night, and not be too concerned about. I guess 1.5-ish?

Hmm...if you just want a safe place to come home to at night for 1500 a month, you can try Pembroke Pines, the areas off of I-75 in particular. Also solid with easy highway access, from furthest to closest- Weston, Cooper City, most of west Miramar (make sure there is no section 8 and your good), and Miami Lakes.
