My son has been looking for apartments in the Broward County area. He told he me he went to Rent.com and found a few prospects. You fill out a form as to what you are looking for etc. Perhaps you could try that. Also, can anyone at the place you are going to work be of any help? They would know the area better. For instance, you could be working in Miramar but be close to a rental in Pembroke Pines. Pembroke Pines is the city next to Miramar to the north. I would think someone there could help you with your questions. And at last resort, I would again try a real estate company. Again I am not a realtor but perhaps they could help or put you in contact with someone who is rental agent.

All apartment complexes are different, but I know my kids pay their electric monthly but their other expenses such as water and garbage are included in their rent. In the summer, your electric bill will be high. It's really really hot here now. But you will definitely save money in the winter.

Good Luck.

Hello there,

I live in Pembroke Pines and go to Miramar all the time. It takes me approximately 25 minutes from NW 186th Ave and Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines to get to NW 62nd avenue and Miramar Parkway. The traffice is terrible during rush hour especially in the mornings, but there is always a back road that you can use to avoid the traffic. Also, if you're interested in renting and not here yet, my husband is a real estate agent who would be happy to find you a place to rent. Actually, we should be moving soon and we'll be renting our home, within your price range. Please respond and let me know. Good luck!!

depending on where in miramar work is itsa great area west of rte 75 and you will like it. i used the site buyrentfree.com to look at housing when i moved here from mass, i live in a hoa in pembroke pines and work in hialeah florida north of miami airport and when school is in it takes about 45 minute to work to go the 19 miles, without school ini session i do the ride in 20. rental homes are coming down in price with the home sales dropping, renting is the best option untill the end of the year when the bottom should be completly out of the market here.

I might consider Pembroke Pines area, It is the town over from Miramar, Although West Mirmar is a newer community, the public schools might be better im Pembroke Pines as where as the Sports programs. They just built a new high School west in chapal Trail Area. it a very nice community.

My wife and I will be moving to Broward County towards the end of this year. We are looking for a nice area that will allow the easiest commute to and from Miami International Airport and Fort Lauderdale Airport. What city would you recommend? I will be flying about once a week from each airport. Our intensions are to rent first and after getting to know the area, maybe buy. Thank you guys!!!
