Default Nice areas in Broward?

I am in Boca now but have been looking in Palm Beach county mostly for a new place to rent. I am wondering what areas are nice in Broward. I know only a little bit of Deerfield,Coral Springs, and Coconut Creek. I am 31 and single lady but like very quiet and safe. Quiet is very important to me but near things like stores and restaurants. If you know of any nice rentals too I would appreciate it. I work from home so why location is not so important other then I like a nice surrounding. I am from out of state so basically all I know is Boca and Wellington where I rented short term. Thank you

Well, just so you know Boca is in Palm Beach County. Not sure if you knew this or not. Coral Springs is nice and quiet. Liked it when I lived there, but do your research. The condo that I lived in went section 8 and everything went downhill soon after that. Why not stay in Boca ? The grass is NOT greener on the other side as they say.

You might find that the rent prices are cheaper in Coral Springs, Deerfield, and Coconut Creek when compared to Boca. Not sure really because I haven't checked the market in a while, but that's how it usually is. And the commute between Boca and Coral Springs is minimal.

Thank you. I know Boca is in Palm Beach County. I just can't find anything I like that is not unreal expensive. I have looked in Wellington and Boynton though I am not sure on Boynton around safety. Also in Delray. I am picky though and it is more around noise so I don't want to be on a street, near atrain,or hospital. I know I sound nuts. I have heard there are some nice places in Broward just clueless as it seems all areas have good/bad. I am thinking of taking a drive in PC to Jupiter. I will look at Coral Springs too. Can you suggest a nice rental apt or condo in Coral Springs? I think I want gated too. Also not near that ladfill though I think they said it is in Coconut Creek but I thought coral springs is near CC. Also what about Weston I have heard is nice? Thanks

Stay away from Boynton. ALL of it. I hear you about the noise. I just had impact windows installed, not because of hurricane protection since I already have shutters, but because of the noise reduction it affords. I hate noise. I need peace and quiet. I sleep with a sound machine on and I am VERY sensitive to noise. Trust me...I feel you. Good luck in your search

How does that sound machine work? I run a fan at night to keep things consistent and drown out other noise. Right now where I am renting they are replacing the roofs so it is noise central but at least that is just short time not something like a train that is there for good. I wish I was not like this but what can you do it is what it is. Boynton is a no for sure. I wish I could buy a home cause that means no close neighbors but I have a hard time commiting to one place and one state. In time maybe. Thanks

Rent a home...there are so many out there to choose from. The sound machine works great. I once used a fan..did the job too. I remember when I lived in Coral Springs in an apartment complex. We were on the ground floor. I hated it. I would hear the washing machine upstairs when they ran it, I would constantly hear things dropping, banging on walls. I had to go up there and talk to them on numerous occasions. I am so glad I moved out of that apartment complex. I was really suffering. I actually had to use ear plugs on certain nights...thats how bad it was.

You seem to be all over the place. Wellington and Jupiter are extremely far from Boca. Do you have a job in Boca? If so, I would strongly recommend living closer in a place like Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Deerfield Beach, or Delray Beach. Anything north of Boynton Beach or south of Deerfield Beach isn't worth it to save a few bucks on rent. You will spend more on gas and commuting times than you will save.
