I am originally from NYC and moved to Naples,Fl,but find the people here extremely unfriendly! I found a condo in Residences on hollywood beach, and want to know if anyone can tell me if this is a good area? I'm looking for a safe, friendly social area that is not too crazy/noisy. I would really appreciate any feedback, I don't want to make another bad move. I have the lease but didn't sign it yet, so if you have info I really need ASAP! again thanks!

I find that area to be nice. I have friends currently residing in that condo building (the one across from the ocean) and they seem to like it a lot. There is some pedestrian traffic as the beach and The Diplomat are very close, shops and restaurants are within a very close driving distance. It is not as busy as Sunny Isles and less expensive. Anything along the water in Hollywood is nice in my opinion. The only word of caution ...check out the apartment with an inspector. Last time I saw a unit in that building it smelled of mold
