Default Working in Margate...Where to live

IM thinking about working in Margate for the navy as a recruiter. Any good/low crime/nice/clean areas to live around that area?
Keep in mind IM from Virginia beach and never been to FL besides vacation..

Thanks!

Anyway, Margate used to be nice many years ago but I would not recommend that area to live. (besides spanish speakers, there are still many retirees out in the western Broward County area)Personally, if you are to move to So. Fl, I would move somewhere along the coast. Ft Lauderdale Beach area is cool. Northern Broward near Deerfield Beach, and southern Palm Beach county (Boca Raton/Delray Beach area) Boca/Delray is nice, safe, clean and beautiful. Boca can be a bit expensive but its worth it. Yes, there are a lot of Northerners in these parts!

Boca/Delray to Margate area would be about 20 mins. Same for Ft Laud beach area to Margate area.

Buddy Miamis image is anything but damaged its most probaly hurt for being expensive but most people like diversity and the latin charm but you guys take it as rudeness and agression!
I know plenty of people that wish they lived in Miami up north, even in texas i know some people that are moving to broward.

I wasn't planning on living in Margate..just work there and live outside of the area.. I don't mind a 20-40 min drive to work if its someplace really nice..but thank you for your advice and I'll be sure to check on those areas when I look for a place to live..
