It is. But it will cost you. The average housing price is hovering around $350-400k for a 3 or 4 bedroom. But it is a great community.

Coral Springs is nice... Excellent schools and pretty central to commute to Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale and everywhere else you may want to go. Not a whole lot to do for someone single but absolutely nice for a family with kids.

I have friends in the area and go there often to show houses so PM me if you have any questions.

good morning...i used to live there but now live in the city right next to coral springs and go there often, dining, shopping, etc. the city is well cared for and has excellent schools but the people are extremely materialistic. go to the mall and you will see spoiled teenagers and women with massive amounts plastic surgery. god forbid you live there without a new luxury car or suv.

don't get me wrong coral spring is pretty, has nice houses but personally not worth dealing with the stuck up people that live there. i moved outside of coral springs so i can still enjoy the city but be away from the snobs

Have to agree with kaya6. I live just east of Coral Springs. Worked there for 8 years. Lots of rules for home owners. Like what you can park in your driveway, or the colors you can paint your house. Some areas are trying to get pick up trucks and suv's to be kept only in a garage, out of sight. Which most of these trucks and suv's are top of the line, not beat up work trucks. Seems lots of people there ( no offence) want everything for free. Definately snobby and stuck up ! ( my opinion)

Default Why Coral Spring?

Well, don't believe everything you read in a newspaper...Coral spring may be pretty, but the traffic congestion will kill you, if you ever want to see the beach (ocean) be prepared to drive forever, as you will be very west..hope you have lots of money to spend in that old tiny 2 bedroon house, and I hope you are driving a new LEXUS....or people will make fun of you ...also don't aspect to meet any friends, that will never happen!! But yes Coral Spring is a nice place to live......

I've been living in Coral Springs for 16 years and I agree about the whole snob thing, but I think you have to deal with nasty people everywhere in south florida....just different kinds of nasty people.....I'd rather live in a nice, safe area and deal with a few snobs here and there than live in a high crime area. And I really don't think it's that bad. I mean, yes you will see some teenagers at the mall sporting coach purses and $200 cell phones but not everyone is like that. I actually feel like it's gotten a lot better in recent years and people are becoming more friendly.

It's Broward Cnty. You can buy for near enough the same money in West Boca and WB is way better than coral springs.

I dissagree. There is more crime in west Boca (I admit, there still is not much in either location LOL!) and more congestion. It is easier to get in and out of Coral Springs than west Boca. Plus the attitude is MUCH snottier in Boca. I would say that west Boca wins on schools, though. Whats wrong with Broward, though? We have much lower crime than PBC as a whole. I think the original poster made up thier mind after a half a year though, LOL!

Default someone lied....Coral Springs is not a HIGH CLASS area

I do not see the uppity snoby people.. oh yeah, there are the idiots that honk before the light turns green... I see a FEW lexus, BMW's etc. but this
town is FAR from High class... I was disappointed after hearing these reviews of the city... only gang looking people alllllll over the place. looks
like a slum city. people will laugh at you if you do not drive a lexus??? where in the HELL did you get that info.. you surely did not live here... I wish I had never moved here.. the only PRETTY thing is the beach.. and that
isn't too great... snobby people?? hahaha.. more like rude white trash.. oh, but there are not too many white people that live here... not that I see anyways........they must go inside early at night !!! Parkland, does have a few whiteys....if hubby would let me.. I would leave today.
