We are protesting in front of the BP station at Oakwood Plaza in Dania Bch. on Sheridan St. at 4:30 PM tomorrow (SUN May 30th). Please join us. We are covering ourselves, and some toy birds, with OIL (not real oil) to demonstrate our ANGER, FRUSTRATION, DISAPPOINTMENT, SADNESS, and overall sense of HELPLESSNESS. Most of have to buy OIL products, but we don't have to give our money to BP or Exxon-- Big Polluters MUST PAY for their crimes against our planet !! We're taking bikes and buses, to minimize our footprint, but if anyone needs a ride from Sheridan Tri Rail, I'd be glad to carpool some folks-- the BP station is 2 blocks away from there. Say NO to BP. Leave message for JD at 954-292-3997 or at this citi-data account.

You know, I heard that BP really doesn't use much if any of that oil for actual gasoline products. Also, those gas stations are privately owned. So inactuality, you are not hurting BP corp. but instead those people who own the gas stations trying to make an honest living. I am definitely against the oil spill and think something needs to be done, but to BP itself, not the innnocent people who have nothing to do with it.

Go along with the protest If its privately owned or not and if the people who own it are even half way decent they will close down their piece of **** store. If we never use any bp gas station again it will affect bp all the way to the top. Come on lets not roll over lets fight for our ocean. This is our country the hell with bp and anyone associated with them scumbags.

Has anyone been watching the live feed of the oil leak? You can check it out here, it's pretty crazy.

Live video link from the ROV monitoring the damaged riser

Yeah, ok, they are going to close down and lose their income just to make you happy? Please

Let's think rationally here.

what ur doing is wrong..most of the BP stations are indepentantly owned and operated and have very little ties to BP. Moderator cut: offensive you would protest in front of their south florida headquarters. Shame on you taking bread out of the mouth of hard working families.

Boycott BP = increase the local unemployment. They make their money well before you swipe your credit card at the pump.

Go to a different gas station....it isn't that hard to figure out.

BP stands for 'British Petroleum', not...ahm.. 'Broward Petroleum'...?

Its funny how when a enviromental catastrophe happens on the doorstep of the US, everyone throws their toys out the pram.

For the record the US is the ONLY country who has yet to ratify the Kyoto protocol. Why? Perhaps its to do with self interest, jobs, economic growth, call it what you like but every other country that has ratified this treaty is in exactly the same position, so why is America so special?

BP is not 100% responsible for the oil spill, there are other companies involved who are funnily enough quoted on the NYSE. Have you heard any of the American constitution or media lay into them, its all about BP, public enemy number 1.

The US governments posturing and handwashing in this is immoral, deceptive and disgusting.

Maybe I will come if you are all good looking, naked, and covered in chocolate.

But first I need to spool up my private jet engines.
