Don't worry hik I'm on duty in the Naples forum.

are you aware of lovers key dog park beach? that could become a consideration, maybe somewhere between lovers key and where Bonita Beach Road connects to the 75. Takes forever to get around or down to Naples if you try to do it on the Tamiami Trail.

Just make sure it's not high tide when you go. There won't be anything left of the sandbar for all to sit. We have been there at high tide and it gets quite tight, no room to move on dry land. Still fun though!

I can remember when it was plain, old dog beach and not officially sanctioned and everyone felt like they were sneaking their dogs over there.
