We have property in the NW up sanwiched between Old Brunt Store Rd and Burnt Store Road. Here's the Question, Are the Properties under Water during a Bad Storm? Do the Septics Work? I cannot make heads or Tails of the Flood Zone maps on my computer, I do know this was/ is Fl Swamp land as it cost us a fortune to raise the Property partially. Great in Dry Season, During the Rainy Season, underwater. Looking to put a Septic in and any info appreciated, thank you.

I would hold off on installing septics for a little while. The city is getting a lot of pressure to install city sewer (especially west of burnt store rd). They have been looking into a vacuum type septic system as recently as last week. Per an agreement to not restore ceitus barrier one of the requirements was city sewer west of burnt store within 2 yrs. The city said they were going to fight and not expect within 5 yrs.... but it is going to happen eventually. I'd hate to spend the money on wells and septic just to get hit with public water and sewer a couple years later.
