I think the guy on the left in the red shirt is GILLIGAN ! The site of that picture was two blocks from where you now find Tarpon Point.

I am new here and do not know how to PM, so I need to learn my way around the forum.

Lee, I would find another place if I were you. Cape Coral has always been a bad place to live in my opinion. The traffic is horrendous, not many trees, too much building going on(but that is everywhere now). They were hit hard by hurricane Charlie in 2004, as was Sanibel/Captiva, Pine Island, and Punta Gorda.
What are you looking for in a town? What is wrong with Kentucky? I am ready to leave Florida, like most of us that have been here a long time.

Cape Coral had 27 grow houses busted last year. This year the numbers might be higher 2 have been busted and this was in the news today. Police say grow house was "For Rent"
Cape Coral Police busted a marijuana grow house that was apparently for rent. A total of 69 plants were found inside. That would be one a week this year.

IT is being cleaned up especially with this new Police Chief. The city has grown so fast and will hire another 48 cops this year alone.
I really blame the people who rent these homes, they should do more of a background check on any tennent. If they own more then 2 houses that have had trouble before the City should take it.
That would open up some eyes for sure. They do it in NY all the time.
They have had a few in Ft Myers also but not as bad.

BTW you must really have something against Cape Coral, every word that comes out of your mouth is negative.
I can understand voicing your opinion but this seems like a grudge to me.

No grudge or anything. I just post what is real and what is happening. I could see why you would think that but Cape Coral is always in the news. There is just not much positive to say about it. Sorry
