Oh yeah, MUST have a breeze where I live, and I noticed that about SWFL. Almost always a breeze, just like where I live now. I could never live inland--not in Delaware or Florida. Different lifestyle and no breezes (or beaches). I know I said it before, but Orlando was literally hell on earth during the summer. Hot, humid, nasty, no breeze.....UGGGG. I could never live there.
Actually I got FAT when I moved TO FL in 1994... Not really fat but I put on a few every year. I got down here at 175 Went to 222, now at 198 as of this morning! Made a lifestyle change with eating, now I feel better.

Nice!! I'm really into bike riding myself (just rode 22 miles this afternoon), but I still have an old Huffy. I seriously need to get a new bike at some point.

Beachliz,we bought a couple of mountain bikes at Walmart for around $70 each 3 years ago and they are awesome for the $$. We ride everywhere, including on the beach. All you have to do is hose them down and then spray all the gears and moving parts with WD40 after beach riding and they'll last for many years.

I keep the blue/black one in the picture for the roads and bike trails, and the other bike for beach riding, the Schwinn is my beater bike. Sand can be bad for a bike. Just get out there and ride.
