Does anyone have any experience living or vacationing there? Seems like it could feel isolated, but maybe thats the point
would kids have anyone to play with?

I grew up on a island like that when I was a kid. You have to be very young and meet friends early on. I still have all of my friends from child hood. I was one of the few kids that left the island when I got older. We were all into water sports and that kept us busy. Now it is very costly to live the island life. To bad because it was great as a kid. But then I didn't have to pay for it.

North Cap is beautiful & wild, only accessible by boat or private plane ~ bring plenty of $$$, bet it's nearly impossible to get a mortgage on a house with no electric, water, sewer or septic on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico. No cars are allowed either, golf carts only.
