Hey Harley girl, how you doing? We moved down here from Sewell June 1st. We bought our home Aug. 22. We settled on Port Charlotte. We spent many days looking at homes in the cape. Just couldn't find what we wanted there. We love it down here. Take today for example. It's 80 already this morning and it is in the 30s in south jersey.

Maybe some day we will meet up and have a beer

I have heard many good things about Port Charlotte. How far are you from the beaches.

Port Charlotte has a park with a nice beach. It is on the river, so you won't see any blue water. Loads of facilities......bocci ball courts ...horse shoe pits.....free boat ramp (you do have to pay to park) swimming pool, basketball courts....and I think tennis courts.

We are about 1/2 hr to the Gulf beaches

Do the recon trip-we are in AC, NJ and N. ft Myers, which is VERY quiet and we like it like that. Not as crowded as the east coast and really nice midwestern people. Totally different.
