BTW, I am not selling anything and am not a realtor. As far as snakes you do see some once in a while in different areas but most of them are black racers and harmless.

wow, why is almost everybody SOO negative? That's what I want to get AWAY from!!! Ridiculous! well, thanks for the posts anyways. AND- I REALLY thank you all who were at least somewhat helpful!!
Actually, Ft. Myers if pretty decent sized, right? It's kind of ridiculous to watch cops to find out what it's like in ft. myers. There was a show on t.v. that tried to make a place in my state look horrible- but it reality, it's a SHOW!! Anyways, as long as the druggies don't bother me, then they can do whatever they want. In fact, where I am living from now is deemed by some as the drug capital of the state- but I have met many nice people, who aren't druggies!! anyways, ft. myers looks and sounds beautiful, and although apartments are pretty expensive from what I've seen, it would be a huge change. anyways, are the hurricanes really that terrible- i mean are ALL of them like that? How often does ft. myers get hit by hurricanes, or just really bad storms? By the way "HIKNAPSTER"- you were talking about your old "hood"- no offense, but I'm sure the whole area is not a hood!! well, any more info is very much appreciated! thanks so far! ![]() |

FGCU is a pretty good college, but it depends on your major. it's really nice in that the classrooms are pretty small in size so you do get to know your professors and they get to know you. i never had any problem with that. if they dispose of the IDS program (which i think they may), i'd highly recommend it to you. what is your major?
as for hurricanes, just make sure you are prepared ahead of time. otherwise, you have to deal with all the other procrastinators loading up on gas, water, food, etc. and it's just a big pain in the rear. (i know, i've been there before!) okay, wildlife...snakes are common but it's not like you'll have one in your house every other day (unless of course you own one). lots of spiders but most are harmless. cockroaches and palmetto bugs are the popular bug and they get to be gargantuan (or at least appear to be!) but once again, they're harmless. |
