The weather is better there than Chicago. Other than that, I can't think of a reason. Why "must" one move anywhere?

No reason why you should, lots of reasons why you shouldn't, but then again, we have been through this many times before, haven't we?

Triton, I really, really suggest northern Florida if you want a mild climate and actually care for affordability and this warm friendliness that you think is in Fort Myers or Fort Lauderdale.

Where are you moving from and what would your purpose of moving to Ft Myers be? I just moved from there 2 years ago and I miss it so much.....
