Lee county Crime stats
This is a list of people charged with murder in lee county that have not had a day in court yet. Now tell me about how its not bad.

And Lee County is the most overbuilt county in FL.
Mix too many empty homes with no true jobs mixed with typical riff raff.... It's almost scary to watch the downward spiral the area is going towards & picking up steam as it goes. Charlotte County is starting to get some of the overflow of Lee County. I feel lucky we've been fortunate enough to rent & able to move on next week. This is no place to raise a family or retire.

That helps explains why they are building the new jail. And it looks like 4 or 5 stories.

and people critisize us that left because we left "paradise"? Thanks for showing those with their rose colored glasses on what those of us who no longer have them on have seen for years. All this crime in Ft. Myers is leaking its way into Collier and Bonita and Lehigh too. There are so many people living between those places its hard to tell where one starts and the other stops. That goes for the crime. If people living there knew half of what goes on.. The news doesn't report it all. My husband worked for the sheriffs office and would tell me the kind of calls they would get and its scary.

Haha, well...I never said anything about not being bad. I just wanted to clarify that they all didn't kill someone.

All I said was that they all weren't in jail for murder. If it had been entitled "List of People in Jail for Murder or Attempted Murder", I wouldn't have bothered to post. However, it specifically says people charged with murder and that's not true.
Let's not make it sound like I'm making light of the situation. I'm not defending the people accused of attempted murder nor am I denying the severity of their charges. I'd just prefer it if the list were correct or the title amended, especially if Lee County Jail or the News-Press are planning on using the list as solid fact.
