Default San Carlos Park area, anyone?

I have been looking since last year, just lazily...and it appears that is a neighborhood I could afford, and just at the end of Fort Myers...so I wouldn't really have to go to the big city if I didn't want to- could go into Bonita or Naples.

Is there anyone reason not to live in this area? I'm not looking for normal "don't live in FL reasons"...I already live in FL so I know all about them (would like to NOT live in FL, but I think I have to wait a couple of years for that)...but reasons specific to San Carlos Park.

Thanks!

San Carlos Park is a big place. Most of it is fine, a few places are iffy, at best. I really like the Three Oaks area.
