Default Lehigh Acres: 125 Homes Abandoned

"Lehigh Acres' dominant position as a place to build a home also has a downside in the struggling real estate market.

Lee County officials have confirmed 125 abandoned homes in various stages of construction and so far have cited 74 for code violations. Homes also will be checked for structural stability."

Terrific. And at least half the people are whining and snivelling for even MORE government. Perhaps in the next 10 years this country will turn into the type of socialist barbarism that was seen in places like China in the 1960's.

I read today that the "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan have thus far cost 1.6 TRILLION. We still haven't taken responsibility for the horrific status of tens of thousands of Vietnamese whose crime was to simply grow crops which unfortunately grew in a similar type water table to Fla which were polluted from millions of gallons of chemicals WE dropped on that country. I don't see the perpetrators getting the gallows on that one .

And if "our friend" , the military dictatorship in Pakistan wasn't so shaky right now, this administration along with their accomplices in both democrat and republican parties had plans on using 3 air bases in that country to launch an attack on Iran.

Incredible.

Wait till 2008. The first wave of "baby boomers" will be collecting socialist security and that wave will continue for years. Where's that money coming from you might ask?

Ha!

And people are surprised at the state we're in?

If Ron Paul who is the ONLY politician with true "classic" American/Libertarian values is not elected you can plan on a dollar becoming more or less like green toilet paper in the next decade.

People need to take a stand one way or another. Want more socialism and like the way things are going? Keep following the 2 parties you've been following. Tired of it and want more freedom and prosperity?

This may be your last chance

Someone posted a link here somewhere about a survey for "picking your candidate" and Ron Paul and I had similar beliefs. I don't know if he can make through the primary or not. That's the bad part.

I'd love to see Ron Paul win.

I took that survey, too, and Ron Paul came way out on top for me. I'm not interested in any of these other bozos.

Unfortunately, he doesn't come off as a phony actor. The American public loves polished sound bites, that way they don't have to do any research or actually think.

The problem in Lehigh Acres and Cape Coral is happening in many places across the country, and it is even trickling down to areas that were doing fairly well.

Anyone see this?
