Hot & humid in the summertime=I LOVE IT!!
Better opening the door and get a blast of heat
then opening the door and having my (YOU KNOW WHAT) freeze up and fall off.

Traffic, so what who cares not me.

Crime, I am not a criminal so I do not worry about it.

Great Boating=I LOVE IT!!

Great Fishing=I LOVE IT!!

Hurricanes=Throw a hurricane party

Gators= Hmm, Good eating

Snake=I can run FAST!!

Florida Lizards=Cool little suckers

Palmetto bug=Put them outside

People who complain and hate Florida= SIMPLE, MOVE
BYE BYE.....................................

I LOVE FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to the Christmas tree lighting festival (called holiday stroll through the lights or some other stupid name) and it was great! They has a Beatle impersonator band, horse drawn carriage, lots of new decorations and the town was jumping.

here it is 7 am and I am sitting in a screened room drinking my morning cofee with a light sweatshirt and shorts on. Watching dolphins and pelicans in my canal.....listening to the shore birds.

Friends at home are bundled up with the heat running and peeking out of the windows.

No more to be said!

Here are a couple of sites:

Florida is a beautiful place. And even though you get high humidity/dew points for 7 months, (Apr-Oct) you always have the morning and when the sun starts to go down, to go outside. As in the cold, you are stuck in your house. All day at times. Most bugs are big. You will need to know your snakes, spiders and some frogs (if you have pets). Mosquitos and no see ums can be an issue. Also alligators if you are living by water. And the crime. Any warm place you move to, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Arizona, etc the Caribbean, Bahamas there will be more crime. It is easier to live outside in the warmth than in the cold, so all types of people gravitate to warm areas. It's a different way of living. Need to be more aware of your surroundings and enjoy the laid back life of Florida with all it has to offer.
