Been looking at Cape Coral, Savannah and Murrells Inlet SC area for condo.

Why do most condos in Cape Coral say no pets permitted?
I see other places that have pet restrictions and only owner can have pet but most real estate listings I've been looking at for condos in Cape Coral say NO PETS.

I have a 12 year old indoor cat I can't just kick to the curb.

Just curious

There's a few reasons, but if you really want to know why, call them and ask.

A lot of HOAs do not allow renters to have to pets, that's just their rule. A lot of landlords wont' accept pets, again that's their rule. Too many landlords have been screwed over by tenants with pets and a small deposit won't cover all the damage a pet can cause.
