Anyone have any info on cape coral or ft.myers area. I am getting ready to move and raise our family in one of these cities.

My in-laws sold their house in Miami and moved there because of the cheap housing.
Problem is they aren't retired yet, and the job market isn't very good over there. My father-in-law lost his job and is now having a real tough time. And if you think real-estate tanked in Miami-Dade, Cape Coral is even worse. I don't know what your financial situation is, but think this through very carefully. Too many people moved over there in the past 5 years and the economy can't sustain all of them. Just my .02
