I moved to Las Vegas from Fayetteville AR where the air quality is great to a place where the air quality is BAD. I'm 68 years old and I'm suppose to buy a house in one week but I have had trouble breathing for 17 days now, so I think it might be in my best interest to move to Cape Coral where the air quality is good and where I can buy a nice house? The house in Las Vegas is $230K at 1700 square feet so I should be able to buy at least a 2000 square foot house and breath better in Cape Coral?

Well, you're talking about hot dry dusty air vs. hot humid air and a lot of vegetation where pollen is a problem in the spring. Is that OK for you?

My breathing problem has been going on for 13 years after a back operation but my breathing problems only happen after I take walks for a certain length and time. The doctors can't figure it out. It's not the pollen, allergies, or any kind of weather because I've live in many places in the western us. I only had mild breathing problems in AR because the air is clean. The other 11 years were in not so clean air quality. I worked up to taking my dog for a 1.9 mile walk and this is the 18th day of breathing problems. As long as I don't take walks I am ok but this is the longest time I've had problems breathing so I'm afraid to stay here. Also the elevation is 2,000 feet less in FL and that is healthier in itself.

Cape Coral and Naples are considered to have some of the best air quality in the country. The drawback of course is the very high humidity this time of year. The pollen this time of year is fairly low. Summers here can be a challenge for people with breathing problems, but your lungs should not be further harmed by pollutants.
Sea level elevation is also a help for people with breathing problems. Good Luck in your move.

Take a trip down to visit to see if you can cope with the air quality before you sell and buy. Your health depends on it.
