From their website,. it loos like Mattress Warehouse in FM has some good deals. Does anyone have experience with them. I don't want something that is stuffed with some sort of Chinese franken-filling emitting toxic fumes. Are the mattresses American made, or imported?

Thanks!

We relocated here in July and purchased a double mattress and box spring for a spare bedroom from them. Very reasonable price, the guy was nice to deal with, and they delivered it free to Cape Coral - I think they have a 15 mile radius for free delivery. Our guests gave the comfort 2 thumbs up!!!

I would highly recommend City Mattress from whom I bought mattresses last fall. The service is top-notch and the sales people are not pushy and extremely helpful. If you buy from their main store (14330 S. Tamiami Trail at Lakeridge Ct.) you have a period of three months to try out the mattress. If it doesn't suit they will take it back and let you get something else.

They also have a clearance center which is located just south of the main store on the same side of Tamiami. The staff there is equally helpful.

I have not had to buy a mattress yet but I am pretty sure there is very little made in the U.S. any more. We are fast becoming a third world country.

I guess the concern is not so much that it be American made, but more of a concern that it is NOT made in China. They have a horrible reputation of manufacturing toxic items, from toxic Chinese drywall to poisonous dog food to [fill in the blank].

Thanks.

YOU asked if it was American made or imported. Like I said I doubt if any mattress is fully made in the U.S. anymore. As far as Chinese dry wall, I heard from a contractor friend at the time that the drywall was not just coming from China but other countries well. However, I do agree that China dose not have the same standards that we do. I am sure that the mattress, like any thing else, has info. on where it is made. I buy everything I can that says made in U.S.A. even if I have to pay a little more. But it is getting harder and harder. Why should BIG BUSINESS pay American's a decent wage to have stuff made here when they can have Chinese children make the same thing for $1.00 a day.
do your due diligence and look at the tag. At least our government still makes them put a point of origin tag on .Someday I 'm sure that will be gone too so where it comes from will be anybody's guess.

You bought it in Dec. that was close to one year I would be interested in seeing how long it lasts . I did look at one on line for my guest room and It did not look to sturdy. Just wondering about the quality. I know a couple ex football players and think that mattress may not be a good fit.
