i seen only 2 recent jobs on cl in last week so i was wondering is there a lot of jobs in this area for painters and auto body men? Anyone doing this now there and how is pay? thanks

Most places don't post openings on CL, so you have to beat the bushes. I would simply start by walking into body shops in your area with your resume in hand and asking. I worked in a shop some years ago, and we were always receptive to hiring a new guy if he had certain skills.

There are like a bazillion body shops in this area, from Mom and Pop to chains, so getting work as a body man is never really hard.

my father in law is a pianter at a body shop in Western NC. used to do it in Ft Lauderdale.

makes $100k a yr.
