There's always garage sales in that neighborhood too! Sometimes they have really cool stuff. Make sure that whatever they were planning with that Paradise Preserve (or whatever it's name is!) doesn't affect your home!

You might mean Moody River Estates? I didn't recall a Paradise Preserve...but they are gutting the golf couse, so right now it's all dirt.

No, it was some plan for the golf course off Birkdale to become some housing development but then the market went bust and I don't know if they still plan on building or if they are just going to restore the golf course.

Ahhh...thanks for that info. I'll inquire. I've got to find good insurance rates. The people who own the home now pay $3200 per year for Hazard and Flood. yikes. My realtor said they probably failed to "shop around".

Hi I am moving to the port charlotte area I would like some info on the school system it seems most schools are A rated and the area we will be moving to seems nice my friend took a ride down to the area and told me it reminds her of narragannsette here in RI she said that it is beutiful she lives in Lakeland and not close to the beach so she really fell in love with the area her husband is afraid she will want to move there too she lives 2 hours north of port charlotte I would like some feed back of the 33948 area edge water area thanks
