Default Fort Myers Information

Hello,

I am planning to relocate to Fort Myers within the next few months. I would like to know a bit about its school system (Fort Myers High School specifically), its real estate, differences in value from MA, and any other things you think I may find helpful to make my relocation as easy as possible.

Does anyone have any tips/info for me, or a site I can see to find this info?

Thanks a lot.

Default Fort Myers Information

Wow, no replies, here. I was looking for the same information. If it helps, here are some links that I found helpful. I was thinking about Fort Myers High School, also. Cypress Lake and Cape Coral look like close seconds.

Hopefully some other folks have some first hand knowledge about the area to help us out!

Good luck!

Default ft myers info

If you haven't already check out leeschools.net or greatschools.net...I am moving from NH in a couple of weeks to the Ft. Myers area myself. I have been a teacher myself and find the greatschools.net info to be pretty on target to the schools I have taught in here in NH.

I was born and raised in Fort Myers. The city is growing at breakneck speed, and real estate prices are high because of it.

The school system is good, and Fort Myers High School is certainly the best school in the county. I graduated from FMHS so I can say first hand that it is indeed a good school. Nobody denies that it is the best high school in the area. A few years ago it was rated #32 in the nation by Newsweek.
