Can any one provide some info for the followings:

1)any area(s) to avoid in Ft. Myers / Cape Coral / Leigh?

2)average rent for 1-bed apt or condo?

3)what would a minimum yearly income needed for a single person, to have a fair descent living in Ft. Myers?

I think whippersnapper lives in the Ft. Myers area and seems to know it pretty well. If you don't just much of a response, I would try Direct Messaging whippersnapper.

Avoid anywhere along Martin luther king Blvd. Avoid Dunbar like the plague. Palm beach Blvd is bad. Harlem Heights area is not good

Cape Coral doesn't really have bad areas.

I don't know a lot about Lehigh, but I know they had issues with Mexican gangs there. I feel safe here in Cape Coral.

1 bedroom rent is average $500-650.

$500-650 is it income restricted apt complex?

what would be an average yearly income for a single person?
(a descent apt, car payment,...)

No that would be for private rentals in the area. I would not go to an income restricted property.

www.news-press.com and here is the cape coral classifieds Hot-Ads SW Florida, FL

As far as income goes, it's all up to what you do for a living, type of car you buy, etc.

I am having little trouble locating:
-Dunbar (the plague)
-Harlem Heights

on the map. Can you please guide me.

Also, stay away from Pine Manor, across the street from there, and the surrounding area.

Okay. I can barely see the map, but stay away from anything near MLK Boulevard, and anything going south on 41 from there, to Island Park, which would be just north of Alico.

I can't see the map enough to pick out Harlem Heights.
