and not for anything negative...

But it's been the Eagle cam in North Fort Myers. Even my father saw it on the news in the northeast.

The eagle laid 2 eggs, but only one hatched and it looks like the other one won't. They have already been feeding the baby eaglet.

I drive right by there every day on my way to work.
Was just looking at camera 1, Mom got up, fed eaglet some food that was at nest's edge, and I could clearly see that the second egg is starting to hatch. Eaglet 2 is using his/her egg tooth for
sure

I don't think egg 2 will hatch, it's too many days past when it should have and what was thought to be a crack was just some debris, like straw or something.

It didn't look like straw to me, I hope you're wrong.
Also, I'm almost sure that the mother bird knows when an egg is no good, and she would remove it from the nest. I hope some real birders come in your thread and let us know if that is true or not.

*By the way, I'm not trying to say I know anything of your own knowledge, you may well be one of those who does know

I live on Long Island. I've seen it on TV and in the news papers up here several times.
