Default short sale homes

Good grief, how much lower can some of these homes go?
I've seen decent homes listed as short sales for under $80K

Yes they are listed that low,but that is a starting point. Many many times it goes way over that and you are in a bidding war,and it maybe you that your bidding against. When they have mulitable bids they say bring your biggest and best and you may already be the biggest so if you bid higher you may out bid yourself.

Hi, In the 80's housing crash some went to almost 0. Take a look at Detroit 4000 to 5000 per house now. Thats what I bought a house for in Colorado in 1987. 6200 cash. Nice house to and kept it for 5 years and made money on it. I have been in muilt. bids 3 times this year on houses and a condo. I was out bid twice and got the condo on the water with a dock for 5,000 under asking price. It just takes not giving up and lots of cash. Cash is king in bad markets always. I learned that in the 70's crash. Till later Steve
