Default Looking to purchase in Ft Myer's area
Hi,
We are interested to purchase vacation property in Ft Myer's area and are planning a trip shortly to look around. Would like to do some research upfront on communities, etc and would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. We will be looking for the following:

1. Gated community
2. Under 20 min drive to the beach (Ft Myer's beach and Sanibel)
3. Newer construction 1-3 years old
4. Townhouse or condo or stand alone home in 200K range (nothing big, but at least 3 bdrms and 2 baths)

Your help would be appreciated.

midwest shopper is on a distinguished road
I would suggest Grandezza in Estero. It is a country club resort community and near beaches. We just bought there and think it is paradise.

Isn't Grandezza quite a bit out of the 200K range? They advertise their home prices as 500K+. It is really nice there though.

Here's a list of gated communities in the area. You can check some of them out.

It's east of I-75, and least 30 minutes from any beaches.

List of gated communities is very helpful. Looks like Laguna Lakes fits my criteria. The only 2 things I wish it had was swimable lake and bigger fitness center. Any suggestions?

Bella Terra, which is very near Grandezza, has townhomes in the 200K range with a lot of deals to be had right now. We go to the beach a lot. It takes about 25 minutes unless traffic is bad.

I'm selling my condo which is 3/2/2 at Bellamar @ Beachwalk. Gated community, 2nd floor unit and BELOW way BELOW what I paid for it originally in summer 2005. IT is close to shopping, great location and 20 mts to the beach. Email me if you are interested aphro777@aol.com
