I'm off Country Club Blvd and my neighbor just called to say our power came back this afternoon. Our neighbors tree came down and took the lines down.

My mother is on SE 21st Street off Del Prado. She still has no power. However Viscaya Prado Animal Hospital and Applebees on Del Prado does.

Well that stinks. I wonder why the kilowatch was **** down. I can understand if the whole website was out because of Irma, but it seems odd to just have one part shut down. Then again, I'm not a techie, so don't know the ins and outs of it.

Probably because everyone wanting to do exactly what you said Mass influx of web traffic flow will slow down / crash the server.

To see if power is on or if a/c is running, call a neighbor and have them go and look at the outside a/c unit to see if it is running........
