Default natural/organic foods in ft myers/naples

I realized that I was very, very spoiled in Kansas. We just moved down here and I can't get anything we used to eat without spending a million dollars. I'm really picky about the foods my kids eat and I used to be within short driving distance to Whole Foods and Wild Oats. Here, all I can find is very, very expensive, small health-food stores with little selection. I heard that they will be opening a Wild Oats in Naples soon but I'm already quite frustrated. Does anyone know of any natural foods 'buying clubs' in the area? Would anyone be interested in starting one? We're in Estero, just south of Ft Myers.

Default natural organic foods

Wow, you really aren't in Kansas anymore! Sorry, couldn't resist. Have you tried Ada's on S. Cleveland also known as Rte. 41 in Ft Myers? Also, it would be a drive, though not unpleasant, and a beautiful day trip to stock up at Whole Foods in Sarasota, downtown. You can access it on the net. Be sure to go there, if nothing more than a very beautiful place and be sure to are St. Armand's Circle while you are there. They also have a fresh market outdoors in the downtown streets every Saturday. I love Sarasota and make the trip regularly to stock up at Whole Foods. I also understand that Sweet Bay Supermarkets is supposed to have a pretty decent organic section, but I haven't been to see it. Good luck.

Default Organic Food In Sarasota

Whole Foods made a big smash when it opened in Sarasota, but there's still only one source for organic food in my opinion and it's Jessica's Stand on 47th street just down University, west of 75. Whole Foods is great for some commodities but unfortunately corporate america just can't compete with the freshness, quality and price of the farm. If you're gonna make the drive from Ft Myers it's worth a look.
