Moved down here permanently on Sunday. Debris truck came by on Tuesday and took our pile. I put a few fronds out Wednesday and the debris truck came by again and removed them. Trimmed a few palms last evening and placed the fronds out. The regular horticultural truck came by and picked them up today.
We’re off the south side of Chiquita near the ball field.
I guess we are lucky.

I wonder if the slow process is because people are putting out fresh trimmings to be picked up. The removal is supposed to be only for hurricane debris. I noticed on Estero Pkwy in Estero many new piles of green cuttings - obviously cut down very recently and not as a result of Irma.
