Need info on Naples neighborhoods (Pine Ridge, Belleair: gated, condos, rent)

If everyone in Naples is as accomodating as you nice people have been I am DEFINITELY looking in the right spot to spend our vacation!!!!!!

Just want to tell you the Garden Cottages are small and have no pool or any outdoor lounging area that I could see. They look charming, though, and are in a good location in Old Naples near the Norris Community Center's tennis courts, downtown 5th Ave., the beach (9 blocks down a shady Avenue), and in a neighborhood of nice ($$$) houses and condos. Everywhere is accessible by bike in O.N. If you rent in a gated community (of which there are many) you'll probably have use of a pool and maybe a community work-out room. More questions? Just let me know and I'll try to answer them.

I called Premier and they kind of acted like if I didnt have 36 million to spend on a rental they didnt want to talk to me.....

I called 3 other real estate offices inquiring about rentals and it seemed like the rental part of their business was on the back burner..... I am not sure if they didnt want to help on something for next year.......seems like I have had the best luck with VRBO, and other like websites.......


I talked with the owner of the Garden Cottages and he happens to live about 5 hours from me, he is in Minneapolis, MN. He is sending me pics and info on the places Whitman told me about.....Sounds like it may be exactly what we are looking for!!!!!! We are both really excited.......

The person you talked to at Premiere made a HUGE mistake in not dealing with you in a respectful, helpful manner. He/she probably thought the commission wouldn't be big so why waste time being helpful. So be it. I hope you have better luck with the Garden Cottages and if I see any other nice-looking places with a "seasonal rental" sign I'll let you know. Take your time and don't worry because in summer, renters sometimes lower their prices for the next year. You're correct. Renting directly from the owner is the best scenario. Now I'm determined to help you find the right place. Don't give up. Let me know if the Garden Cottages work out.

The owners of the cottages e-mailed us some info and pics......It looks great, they do have a really small patio but that goes with the rest of the place being small.... I think it said 570 sq. ft for the place. We dont mind that at all........We will make a decision after the snail mail info arrives.......


I realize the real estate biz is different for everyone but if you get a "new renter" or contact that calls you it could possibly turn into a sale later down the road......I was a little put off by it but didnt lose any sleep!!!!!!
