Default Young Family Moving to Sanibel/Ft. Myers area

Hi:

Does anyone have any advice regarding this area...we are moving from California and are looking for a neighborhood that has good schools Public/Private and homes in the 600k area. We are a relatively young family...with kids that are 5 and 2. My husband will be commuting to around the Sanibel Yacht Club and we are trying to find something in this vicinity.

Thank you for your help...I grew up in North Florida and am clueless regarding this area and it's neighborhoods!
