Does anyone have an idea how long it takes the AMC to assign an appraisal date once lender has submitted request? In Bonita Springs... for a conventional mortgage.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of inventory but I know it's busy time of year....

Usually your appraisal is scheduled within 10-15 days of loan application. They usually wait until after your inspection so you don't waste your money in case you back out for inspection reasons.

Right. Clear on that. But once the appraisal has been completed, how long does it take to get the report? Our lender used AMC. I guess that's the norm now.

You should have it within 3 business days max.

Do you mean once the appraisal inspection is completed? The appraisal inspection is just the first part of the workup.

The appraiser agrees on a due date with the lender when the appraisal is assigned. In my area right now that is anywhere from 10 days to 3 weeks from the time the appraisal is assigned.
