Any input on this community? And input on Estero as a whole? We currently live in NE FL but are thinking of moving to the gulf side to be closer to beaches and honestly to just get out of this area. Not sure if building is an option ( new builds here have like a year lead time now) but wanted to hear about this area and neighborhood. Thanks!

Don't know about this community specifically, but one thing to be aware of is that there are quarries out that way and there could be blasting. There is often a parade of dump trucks loaded with quarried stone on Alico going over to I 75. Estero itself is a very nice place. I would just be a little concerned about being that far east due to the quarries.

We looked out that way at Bella Terra, but trying to get out of the community onto a two lane Corkscrew Road was downright dangerous, so we crossed it off our list. I know that Corkscrew is being expanded, but I don't know if the project has made it that far east.

Good luck. Estero has a lot of options for you and again, is a really nice place.

This area will be fully built up in the coming decade. Places like The Place, Wild Blue, Vista Blue, are being snatched up left and right. Some of my sellers in Corkscrew shores are moving because they are building in those communities. There is even a new Pulte community going up across from Corkscrew shores that will be large estate lots but no lake.

To the point above - yes, there is blasting from the mine. Feels like a tremor for 5-10 seconds, but its only a couple times per month.

Eventually that mine will be gone and more houses or shopping will be in its place.

If you loop around Alico, before you get to the gulf coast town center, there is a new Esplanade community too that is built around a lake and will feature boating rather than golf (the Naples Esplanade is centered around golf).

The biggest issue is getting a home built. Many of the aforementioned aren't even building right now. They will take your deposit, but that's it. If you have an agent helping you, they will have 'ins' with these new home centers and will get notified as soon as the developer releases a home to purchase/build. When that happens, if its the lot you want, jump on it. Some developers are even allowing outside builders like STOCK to come in and build a home since Lennar & Pulte have paused some of their efforts due to skyrocketing prices.
