I will be moving down over the summer. I was thinking the same thing myself. LOL I am from long island and I mostly surf fish so I will be searching spots out also. I think people mostly fish for tarpon from boats, but I hope someone chimes in here. My brother inlaw was down on the east coast and was catching them under bridges useing bucktails. I know it would be a blast, and I am sure we will get spooled alot. I would try up the caloosahatchee, under some bridges when they are in. Let me know how you make out .
