Smile How many bicycle riders are there in Southwest Florida

Just curious to find out exactly how many bicycle riders there are in the Fort Myers, Naples, Estero, Bonita area and if there are enough to form a high gas price protest ride. I would be interested to see what people think of this idea.

I doubt there's anyway to know "exactly". What you propose is more a matter of effective marketing, i.e. "getting the word out" about your protest. I do believe, however, that the number of bicycles, is likely growing everyday, all across the nation.....
Everytime the cost of a barrel of oil goes up another dollar, Schwinn, and Huffy stock goes up also....

I ride my bike a lot to do errands or go to the beach.. However sadly I do need my car for certain things that are too far to ride.. Good luck with your cause though
