my girlfriend is attending graduate school in naples and it looks like i'll be moving out there at the end of july from austin, tx (i know, i know..). i currently work in real estate, and if i stay in that field i won't even be making a lateral move. i have 10-15 years of bartending experience and was considering a return to the "profession".
anyone know how hard it is to get a decent bartending gig out there? any recommendations on where i should try? like i said, i was a bartender for almost 15 years so i know all about the chilis' and applebees' of the industry, and that's just not gonna be an option for me. any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. |

Fifth Avenue South, in Naples, has a lot of high-end bars.
